PRODUCT REVIEW

At the BrightOil oil refinery located in the district of Erbil (Iraqi Kurdistan,

Republic of Iraq), the flow meters produced by GPC «EMIS» are used for

commercial and technological accounting of the turnover of oil and petroleum products, namely:

- mass flowmeters «EMIS MASS 260 »(DN80 and DN50) in the nodes of oil

reception and delivery of finished products

- rotary flowmeters «EMIS DIO 230» (DN50) for metering the flow of liquid

fuel for burners of oil heating furnaces.

- vortex flow meter «EMIS VIHR 200» (DN100) for monitoring the air flow

rate supplied to the bitumen oxidation rolls.

Thanks to the instructions included in the delivery package, which were

competently prepared by the specialists of GPC «EMIS», the installation of the flow meters and their commissioning were carried out in a short time without any technical problems.

During operation in a hot, dry climate with a temperature in the shade up to

+50 C there were no failures in the operation of flow meters installed on the open production site.

The installation of the «EMIS MASS» and «EMIS DIO» flowmeters made it

possible to organize a commercial accounting system at BrightOil, identify the causes and minimize product losses. As a result, the profitability of production was significantly increased.

The above facts allow us to consider the flowmeters GPC «EMIS» as modern, reliable and accurate metering devices with an optimal price/quality ratio.
