Report on the pilot operation of the flow meter

«EMIS-Vihr 200-PPD»

As part of the pilot operation, on June 12, 20013, the flow meter "EMIS-Vortex 200-PPD" was installed at the injection well 1 Obi GRP-1 of the Karakuduk field.№ 6475. The flow meter readings were taken out by means of a local telemechanics station to the field's operating SDKA.

After installation, comparisons were made with a portable flow meter, which resulted in a satisfactory convergence (EMISVIHR 200-PPD readings: 20.7 m3 / h, Fluxus Fb0l readings: 20 m3/h). During the period of experimental operation of the flow meter, there were no failures in the operation of the device, the readings were reliable.

In addition, an additional number of advantages were identified in relation to previously used flow meters:

1 The cost of the flow meter "EMIS-Vihr 200-PPD" in relation to

the used "Vzlet-PPD" is lower by 9%;

2 The connection to the telemechanics controller is made by Modbus RTU protocol via the RS-485 interface, which allows you to significantly reduce the cost of purchasing

high-speed metering modules (also subject to frequent failure) and cable products (if

necessary, connect several flow meters in one loop);

3 Structurally, the device does not have an optocoupler isolation on the used output

measuring stage (on previously used DRS flowmeters.M-50 there is a problem of frequent failure of this stage);

4 The external design of the device allows for rapid installation/disassembly of the device on the measuring line (the previously used flow meter "Vzlet-PPD" requires additional

devices for installation).

Conclusion:

The flowmeter "EMIS-Vortex 200-PPD" meets the requirements of reliability and quality of measurement required for the devices of operational metering of raw water at the Karakuduk field. The use of this type of flow meters is economically feasible and leads to a reduction in costs in this area by more than 10%.
