Review of the operation of mass flowmeters EMIS-MASS 260, electromagnetic flowmeters EMIS-MAG 270 and vortex flowmeters EMIS-VORTEX 200.

At the current time at the JSC "KazAzot" in operation there are mass flowmeters EMIS-MASS 260 in the number of 2 pcs., electromagnetic flowmeters EMIS-MAG 270 in the amount of 33 pcs. and vortex flow meters EMIS-VORTEX 200 in quantity of 2 pcs.

EMIS-MAG 270 flowmeters, purchased in 2015-2016, are operated on hydrochloric and nitric acid at an excess pressure of up to 8 kgf /cm2, temperature of the measured medium is up to+120 C, installed on a pipeline with a diameter of DN50, DN80, DN 100.

EMIS-MASS 260 flow meters , purchased in 2016, are operated on liquid ammonia (NH3 99.9%), with an excess pressure of up to 20 kgf /cm2, and a temperature of the measured medium up to +30 C. They are installed on a pipeline with a diameter of DN80.

EMIS-VIKHR 200 flow meters purchased in 2017 are operated on gaseous ammonia at an excess pressure of up to 6 kgf / cm2, the temperature of the measured medium up to + 12C, , installed on a pipeline with a diameter of DN300 and DN50.

These devices have a built-in display and remote data transmission logger, which allows to quickly control the parameters of the technological process.

During the start-up and operation of the flowmeters, the following positive moments were noted

1)     The flow meter is very easy and quick to install and set up;

2)      During operation , the flow meter is very convenient to use due to the presence of required information on the display;

3)      The electromagnetic flow meter has resistant to aggressive medium lining material of the flow tube, which is PTF (polytetra-fluoroethylene), and electrode material TA (tantal);

4)      The 4 -year calibration interval allows long -term operation of the measuring instrument without any problems. dismantling and additional costs;

5)      High accuracy of readings;

6)      High-quality technical support        ;

7)      They are not inferior imported flowmeters
